The Help

  This book is wonderfully enjoyable.  Have you ever needed to write some specific topic for class and you had a totally different idea, so you decided to do what the teacher wanted and what you wanted.  Well that is sort of what happens in The Help.  There is a white women in the book and her name is Skeeter.  She has to write something in  the news paper and the topic is how to clean things.  The bad part is that she has no idea how to clean anything because ever since she was born there was help (Also known as a maid).  So she ends up going to one of the maids to ask her questions about how to clean.  As she's been doing this for weeks now she comes up with a better idea.  That idea was to write a book about the help and how there life is like.
  Many times she was told that it would be a stupid idea writing about the help.  Something that was mentioned a lot was "Who would read a book that has to do with the help".  Although Skeeter was let down a lot of times she still went on in writing the book.  I'm guessing that the whole point of that part of the book was that you shouldn't give up no matter what people say.
  With that I am going to say that I agree because if you really love doing something in life and people say you shouldn't do it.  Well sadly some people listen and stop doing what they love and then they might regret it.  Not so long ago my friend was one of those people that gave up her dream of becoming a singer because she was told she was not good enough.  She loved to sing, she would pretty much sing every were we went.  Also one of my other friend loves to draw she was auditioning for a school with a art program but she was once again that she was not good enough.  Guess what she didn't give up she kept trying and trying until she was the best she can be.
  So remember there is no reason to give up because its not worth it!
